Vitals

Tri Huie Fasu’s journey began in the inner cities of America and led him through the sands of Arabia, the forests of Africa, and the mountains of Asia. For 18 years, he studied and taught as both a Sunni and Shi’a Muslim student before embracing the Bodhisattva path.He is the first foreigner—and first aboriginal-American to be ordained at Angkor Wat, the spiritual heart of Khmer Buddhist tradition. This rare honor, captured in photo and video, reflects the depth of trust placed in his heart and practice.Later, guided by a vision of greater compassion and wisdom, he traveled to Taiwan, where he formally took up the Bodhisattva vows, committing to a life of boundless service and spiritual liberation for all beings.

The Four Noble Truths (Cattāri Ariyasaccāni)
1.Dukkha – Suffering exists in life.
2.Samudaya – The cause of suffering is craving and attachment.3.Nirodha – The cessation of suffering is possible.4.Magga – The path to the cessation of suffering is the Eightfold Path. The Eightfold Path (Ariya Aṭṭhaṅgika Magga)
1.Right View (Sammā Diṭṭhi) – Seeing reality as it is, guided by wisdom.
2.Right Intention (Sammā Saṅkappa) – Cultivating thoughts of renunciation, goodwill, and non-harm.3.Right Speech (Sammā Vācā) – Speaking truthfully, kindly, and without harm.4.Right Action (Sammā Kammanta) – Acting ethically by avoiding harm and practicing virtue.5.Right Livelihood (Sammā Ājīva) – Earning a living in a way that aligns with Dharma.6.Right Effort (Sammā Vāyāma) – Striving to abandon unwholesome states and cultivate wholesome ones.7.Right Mindfulness (Sammā Sati) – Developing awareness of the body, feelings, mind, and Dharma.8.Right Concentration (Sammā Samādhi) – Training the mind through meditation to reach liberation. These values serve as the foundation of The Bodhisattva Society, guiding all our efforts to train monastics, cultivate mindfulness, and help individuals transform their karma for the benefit of all beings.
